The Gonzalez family seems to be well documented. Not sure who or how it was documented but here is the information that I borrowed.

- There is a recent branch from Italy.

- There is a branch from Portugal and one from Greece.

- There is a Native American Chief.

- There is a family that served in the court of Isabella and Ferdinand.

- There is at least one family who served with Onate's expedition in 1598.
